Covert missions to neutralize Nazi

‘The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare’ is based on the recently declassified ‘Operation Postmaster‘ files, chronicling Winston Churchill’s Special Operations Executive (SOE) and their covert mission to neutralize Nazi Germany’s U-boats during World War II. These agents were not authorized, this operation was not recognized, and the British Army never acknowledged it, but the efforts of these people changed the Second World War and allowed the US to join the European Theater of Operations in 1942.

The failed mission

The film depicts how a huge party was planned for Nazi officers and soldiers so that they are away and March-Phillipps and his men sink the boats. But the ship was reinforced with steel plates to make it pretty much unsinkable. However, they were arrested for their illegal mission. March-Phillipps and his associates were brought to a single room within the prison, where they met Prime Minister Winston Churchill who praised them and told them their mission had helped. Churchill also hints that they have many more missions.

Many more missions can follow

The sequel of the film may begin from here and move on to depict other exploits of Phillipps and his men. Some potential stories could be used as inspiration for a sequel and the director can pick the threads up from there.
