Forget the MacBook – John Lewis offers huge Apple bargain in rare clearance sale

If you’re in need of a new PC but don’t want to splash out on the latest MacBook Air M3 or powerful MacBook Pro then John Lewis might have the perfect solution. The UK retailer is currently offering Apple fans the chance to pop the colourful iMac on their desks for a price that’s pretty hard to believe. In fact, there’s a massive £550 reduction off of this iconic all-in-one PC thanks to a rare clearance deal.

The price drop means this machine will set you back just £849 rather than the original cost of £1,399.

Of course, the reason why it’s reduced is that the model on offer is the M1 iMac that launched back in 2021. This has since been superseded by the newer iMac M3 PC which arrived in stores late last year.

Although it is a much older model, Apple didn’t change the design in 2023 so the M1 looks identical to the new M3-powered machine.

The main difference is that M1 processor which isn’t quite as powerful as the new M3 chip. However, if you all do is simply send a few emails and surf the web, then the older iMac shouldn’t have any issues keeping pace with your digital needs.

If the John Lewis clearance sale has got you thinking about making a purchase then the iMac is a top-rated PC. It not only packs Apple’s own silicon but also comes with a neat and colourful design that features a 23.5-inch 4.5K screen.

You get a 1080p FaceTime HD camera for making Zoom calls, a high-fidelity six-speaker system with force-cancelling woofers and a bunch of ports on the rear for plugging in accessories.

It also ships with Apple’s quality Magic Keyboard and wireless Magic Mouse.

The only thing to note about this deal is that John Lewis is only stocking the Blue model and there’s no word on how long the offer will be around.

As we mentioned earlier, this is a clearance sale so once, the iMac M1 is sold out John Lewis won’t be stocking any more.
