Banijay Asia elevates Rajesh Chadha to COO of scripted division



Content powerhouse Banijay Asia has elevated Rajesh Chadha to Chief Operating Officer of its Scripted Division. Rajesh, previously EVP and Business Head of Scripted, has contributed significantly to the success of the company’s scripted content across various platforms.

In his new role, Rajesh will be responsible for overseeing its development, production, and strategic operations. His promotion aligns with Banijay Asia’s strategy to enhance its market dominance in producing compelling, narrative-driven content.

A media veteran with over 30 years of experience, Rajesh has worked with Endemol, BBC Studios, and RBNL, amongst others. He has spearheaded the content execution of multiple seasons of award-winning OTT series like Criminal Justice, Out of Love, Rudra, The Night Manager, and The Trial, amongst others.

As the founder of IMRC Entertainment, he also produced fiction and non-fiction shows across Star Network, Sony TV, Zed TV, and Colours.Last year, Banijay Asia ventured into Southeast Asia with the formation of CreAsia Studio. Banijay Asia is a joint venture between Dhar and the Banijay Group. It also owns Endemol Shine India.Jessica Kam-Engle was appointed as the EVP and Business Head of CreAsia Studio, focusing on local collaborations for local originals and Banijay IP adaptations.
