Windstream announces partnership with YouTube – Upstate Business Journal

Windstream recently announced a partnership with YouTube that will allow their customers to utilize Kinetic by Windstream to stream both live and on-demand content.

Customers can use either a smart TV or streaming device connected to Windstream’s Kinetic Internet service. By partnering with YouTube, Windstream customers will be able to watch live and on-demand television from over 70 networks, including live and local sports, news, shows, moves and more.

“Partnering with YouTube TV gives our customers a way to cut the cord without sacrificing live, local coverage and seamlessly access the latest on-demand content,” said Jeff Small, Windstream’s president of consumer and small and midsize business segment. “Fortunately, for our customers, the reliable high-speed network delivered by Kinetic is the best place to enjoy streaming video.”

Kinetic membership also includes free unlimited cloud DVR storage and personalized watch recommendations. A family plan would allow up to six users per household.
