February may be a chilly matter here in the UK, but blue skies and balmy sunshine are just a flight away.
Temperatures tend to average around 10°C here, a staggering 20°C cooler than the Thai island of Phuket.
The month’s hottest destinations include Barbados, Cape Town and Singapore – with Auckland, Orlando and Cairo also on the list.

On average, the Met Office says these are the hottest places to visit in February:

- Cancun (32.3 °C)
- Singapore (31.6 °C)
- Barbados (29.2 °C)
- Dominican Republic (28.9 °C)
- Cape Town (27.3 °C)
- Melbourne (26.7 °C)
- Auckland (24.2 °C)
- Orlando (23.1 °C)
- Cairo (20.5 °C)
