Arsenal‘s match against West Brom tonight may be in doubt due to a snow storm at the Hawthorns. Heavy snow hit the West Midlands 90 minutes before the 8pm kick off. Groundsmen are attempting to remove the snow from the pitch as it settles quickly.
Arsenal are hoping to make it three Premier League wins in a row, whereas the Baggies are fighting against relegation under Sam Allardyce.
The Gunners are expected to have Brazilian duo Willian and David Luiz back available after illness.
West Brom lost 5-0 to Leeds last time out but dug out an impressive 1-1 draw at reigning champions Liverpool two days before.
And Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta said at his pre-match press conference that he was expecting a tough encounter.
Arteta said: “Two very different matches, the first one against Liverpool where they had a really clear plan and they executed it really good.
“Even going 1-0 down they didn’t really change anything at all, they knew they would have their moments, they grew and got into the game and were much more efficient in the second half and put Liverpool in trouble.
“Sam is very efficient about what he does, he has a very clear philosophy of playing, he always picks up results, he always makes it really difficult for you and he is not going to be different.
“His teams are always really well organised and know exactly what to do, so it will be a tough test again.”
