Voice of the Mirror: Prince Charles finds true voice speaking on plight of Palestinians

For the second time in a week Prince Charles has made an important intervention in global affairs.

On Wednesday His Royal Highness made an impassioned appeal for business leaders to do more to tackle the climate crisis.

Today, the prince had the courage to speak up for the plight of the Palestinians while on a visit to Jerusalem.

As he rightly reminded his audience, a just and lasting peace in the Middle East can only be found through a two-state solution.

These words carry all the more weight coming from someone who has long championed dialogue between different faiths.

And it must surely be noted that on both the issue of climate change and the Middle East peace process he has placed himself on the opposite side to Donald Trump.
