Virgin Media offers you a free Nintendo Switch but you only have hours left to claim

Popular UK broadband firm Virgin Media is offering those who sign up to four of its current bundles either a free Switch worth £259.99 or alternatively £200 of bill credit. So you can either snag one of the best (trust us) games consoles of recent years, or slash hundreds off your new bill. The cheapest applicable package is £61, so the credit will cover three months of bills and then some.

You’ll have to hurry though, as the deal ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 28 April. Here are the packages that offer the deal:

Bigger Movies Combo Bundle – £61 a month

  • 200+ channels, including. Sky Cinema & 11 kids’ channels, ultrafast fibre broadband with avg. speed 132Mbps and weekend calls

Biggest Combo – £79 a month

  • 210+ channels, incl. Sky Sport & Sky Cinema & Netflix, ultrafast fibre with avg. speed 132Mbps, and weekend calls

Mega Volt Bundle – £85 a month

  • 230+ channels, incl. Sky Sports & Sky Cinema in HD, ultrafast fibre with avg. 1130Mbps, anytime calls and an unlimited 10GB O2 SIM

The Nintendo Switch is a little long in the tooth but it’s still a very popular console, and with good reason. Nintendo is still releasing new, excellent games for it such as The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

Of course, this is only a deal worth considering if you need a new broadband deal and don’t mind paying at least £61 per month in order to claim a free Switch. If the timing is right, and the bundles are what you want, then a free Switch or £200 bill credit sweetens the deal. But you just want new broadband, you can pay a lot less than £61 per month if you shop around.

For example, for just £38 a month, you can get Sky Stream, Sky TV, Netflix and 100MB broadband during the Sky spring sale.

As mentioned, if you want to take advantage of the Virgin Media offer then hurry, as it ends at 11:59pm on Sunday 28 April.
