European football’s governing body have released their latest club rankings, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham and Manchester United all making the top 20
UEFA have announced their latest five-year club rankings – known as their coefficients – with England’s so-called “Big Six” making the top 20.
The Premier League’s finest have been tipped to top spot, however, as Bayern Munich are ranked No.1 by European football’s governing body.
Bayern have reached at least the quarter-finals in nine of the last ten seasons, winning Europe’s biggest competition in 2020.
The Bavarian club have also won the Bundesliga for nine consecutive terms and have picked up five German Cups during that period.

Despite their lack of European silverware, Manchester City are second on the list after achieving success under Pep Guardiola.
The reigning English champions have won three of the last four Premier League titles and reached the Champions League final last season.
Liverpool are third after adding a sixth European crown to their collection in 2019 and winning their first league title in 30 years 12 months later.
Chelsea are only fourth on the list, despite winning the Champions League last season, Europa League in 2019 and Super Cup in August.
What’s perhaps more puzzling is Barcelona’s fifth-place position. The Catalan club have reached just one European semi-final during the last five years and haven’t won La Liga since 2019.
Paris Saint-Germain are just below Barca in sixth thanks to their dominance in France, while Real Madrid – despite winning two of the last five editions of the Champions League – are only in seventh.
Making up the top ten are Spanish champions Atletico Madrid – and there’s no place in the top 20 for Europa League holders Villarreal (21st).
Other questionable omissions include Inter Milan (25th), Sporting Lisbon (29th) and Lille (73rd) – who all won their respective leagues last season – and European regulars Atalanta (24th).
Sevilla (11th), Roma (12th), Porto (15th), Borussia Dortmund (16th), Ajax (17th), Shakhtar Donetsk (18th), RB Leipzig (19th) and Red Bull Salzburg (20th) make up the top 20.
In total, there are 433 clubs on the Uefa’s club list, with Cardiff Metropolitan University currently sitting in 423rd.
