Police looking for help finding suspects following investigation that began in October

Two Barrie residents are being sought by Orillia OPP in connection with a provincewide fraud investigation involving Facebook Marketplace.

In October, police received a report from someone who claimed to have sent a deposit to purchase an item on Facebook Marketplace but never heard back from the seller.

Since that time, more victims have been identified, Orillia OPP said in a news release.

Two suspects have been identified, but their whereabouts are unknown.

Crystal Davies, 28, is wanted for eight counts of fraud under $5,000, and Justin Hawkins, 30, is wanted for one count of fraud under $5,000.
