Trump, North Korea's Kim Seek Path to Denuclearization



HANOI—President Trump started a second day of high-stakes talks with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, emphasizing the importance of their personal ties and playing down the need for a rapid breakthrough on Pyongyang’s nuclear program.

“Speed is not that important to me,” Mr. Trump said Thursday, speaking to reporters while seated next to Mr. Kim ahead of a one-on-one session. Mr. Trump expressed his satisfaction that North Korea hasn’t tested nuclear weapons or missiles since November 2017.
