Arsenal legend Robert Pires believes the Gunners should sign Denis Suarez on a permanent basis as soon as possible.

Suarez has played just 57 minutes of Premier League football since his arrival from Barcelona in January.

But despite his slow introduction to Unai Emery’s plans – Pires thinks he fits the Arsenal mould.

“Arsenal are yet to see Suarez’s full potential and they should look to make the deal permanent as soon as possible,” Pires told bwin. “He was fantastic at Villarreal and I have full faith he will be able to replicate the same form he showed whilst at the Spanish club, if given the chance.

“He fits the mould of the type of player that Arsenal look for with our style of football. He’s excellent at dribbling, has superb vision and his overall technique is top class.”

ESPN say that, when United sacked Mourinho and brought in Solskjaer, it was only going to be temporary.

The Red Devils wanted a ‘high profile’ and ‘experienced’ coach to take the club forward following the nightmare of the Mourinho era.

But they have now supposedly changed their mind and Solskjaer is the only candidate for the job.

ESPN claim Tottenham boss Pochettino would be a costly acquisition given the north London giants’ demands. Allegri, meanwhile, is seen as a gamble.

Harry Kane and Dele Alli may force their way out of Tottenham following Mauricio Pochettino’s Premier League title revelation.

That is according to Chelsea hero and BT Sport pundit Joe Cole.

Earlier this week Mauricio Pochettino claimed it could take 10 years before Tottenham win the Premier League.

“In my opinion, if I’m Harry Kane and Dele Alli and my manager was saying we’re five or 10 years away from winning a trophy, I’m on the phone to the agent,” Cole said.

“I think all your quality English players like your Harry Winks and your Kanes and your Allis who have their sights set on winning Premier League titles, I personally would think ‘he thinks we’re [that far away]’.

20:00 UPDATE: Adrien Rabiot to Arsenal – Pires

Arsenal legend Robert Pires thinks Unai Emery could use his previous ties with PSG to sign Adrien Rabiot.

“Rabiot is a very good player and Arsenal should be trying their best to secure his signature before any other club does,” said Pires, speaking to bwin .

“Arsenal have the advantage of Emery having already worked with him at PSG, which should hopefully sway Rabiot to join Arsenal.

“He would be worth a big fee on the transfer market so the fact he’s free makes it a no brainer. If Emery can secure Rabiot then I think he’ll be able to fill the hole that will be left by Ramsey’s departure.”
