IGHALO PREPARES TO LEAVE UNITED
Odion Ighalo has said his farewells to Manchester United just before his loan spell at the club ends on 31st January.
Ighalo will initially return to parent club Shanghai Shenhua who are open to offers for the striker with interest in his services coming from Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Turkey.
In his emotional goodbye Ighalo said: “It’s so hard to see this dream come to an end. But I give God the glory for helping me fulfil this life-long dream of putting on a Manchester United shirt as a player and represent this great club”.
The 31-year-old played 23 times for United, started seven times and scored five goals for the club.

ODEGAARD DEAL PRETTY CLOSE
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that the club is close to signing Martin Odegaard on loan from Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old completed a medical with the Gunners yesterday with Sky Sports reporting that an announcement of his arrival at the Emirates due in the next 24-hours.
Arteta was asked about Odegaard after Arsenal’s 3-1 win over Southampton last night and he said: “I think we are pretty close but it’s not finalised it as I understand it.
“I haven’t spoken to Edu or the club in the last few hours but we’re very positive that we’ll finalise the deal.”
