THREE lefty Labour MPs quit the Shadow Cabinet last night after voting against a Bill designed to shield British soldiers from being prosecuted for historical allegations.
Beth Winter, Nadia Whittome and Olivia Blake all voted against
the Overseas Operations Bill.

Labour MPs were ordered to abstain on the vote for its second reading but according to The Daily Mirror, all three of the lefty MPs broke the whip and voted against the bill.
It’s understood they will remain as Labour MPs.

In total, 18 Labour MPs voted against the Bill including ex-leader Jeremy Corbyn.
The Government says the new legislation will ensure service personnel will be protected from “vexatious claims and endless investigations”.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace told the House of Commons: “We want in the future the ability if necessary to allow soldiers to focus on the danger and job in hand when in operations, not on whether they will have a lawsuit slapped on them when they get home.”
