'This is worrying' Halifax scam sparks concern as fraudsters target Britons 'Be cautious'

The verified Halifax Bank Twitter account responded to the message.

“I can confirm this is a scam message,” they stated.

“Please don’t click on the link, and you could block the number on your phone, then just delete the text.

“You can also use 7726 to report the text for free to your network provider. Thanks.”
