The Eat Index IE: New restaurants and dessert shops – Press-Enterprise


Pozole, ice cream and cookies are among the menu items at new restaurants opening throughout the Inland Empire. Columnist John Plessel has the details.

Lunar New Year is coming up, bringing some dining specials to Inland casinos.

Also, a Beaumont family is featured on Magnolia Network’s “Family Dinner,” showing off some traditional Samoan dishes they make from scratch.

And we have a recipe for hearty beef stew to warm cool winter evernings.

But it’s not all good news this week. Although it has been closed for longer than three years, it looks like Mr. T’s Family Restaurant in downtown Riverside won’t ever come back after a devastating fire.
