The complete list of bank holidays in November 2020

Most banks across the country will be closed today and tomorrow (i.e., October 30 and October 31) on account of Id-E-Milad (Milad-un-Nabi)/Friday following Eid-i-Milad-ul Nabi/ Baravafat/Lakshmi Puja and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s Birthday/ Maharishi Valmiki Jayanthi/ Kumar Purnima, respectively.

Now, in November there will be many bank holidays due to major festivals during the month. Other than festivals, will be a few more days when banks will be shut across various states in the country. Further, banks are also remain closed in cities across the country on 2nd, 4th Saturday and all Sundays.

  • November 14, a Saturday, banks across the country will be closed due to Diwali
  • In Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh and few other states, November 14 (Saturday) to November 16 (Monday) are holidays on account of Diwali Amavasaya (Laxmi Pujan)/Kali Puja/Second Saturday and Diwali (Balipratipada)/Laxmi Puja/Bhaidooj/Chitragupt Jayanti/Vikram Samvat New Year Day
  • Meghalaya November 6 (Friday) is a holiday on account of Wangala Festival.
