TESCO shoppers are only just realising that they can earn Clubcard points by sending parcels – here’s how it works.

Evri, a popular delivery company, has partnered with the supermarket giant to create this deal that is the first of its kind in the UK.

Tesco customers are now able to scoop up Clubcard points for every parcel they send via Evri.

This is the first time Tesco has agreed this type of Clubcard partnership with a parcel delivery firm.

For every £1 spent at, shoppers will be able to collect one Tesco Clubcard point.

Customers will then be able to turn points into vouchers and get money off their Tesco shop.

Or, they will have the option to donate to charity or double the value of their points with more than 100 Tesco Clubcard Reward Partners.

According to the Tesco website, consumers only have to follow four simple steps if they want to earn points through deliveries.

First, they must click the “Send a Parcel” tab which will send them to Evri’s website.

Then they should follow the send process which is explained on the delivery company’s page.

Step three comes at basket stage where shoppers will need to enter their Clubcard number and check it’s correct before seeing how many points they are set to collect.

Finally, after the payment is complete, customers will be able to pick up their points.

The announcement follows Evri’s partnership with Tesco, which launched in 2021.

Back then Evri’s ParcelShop services were made available in Tesco Express stores across the UK enabling customers to send, receive and return parcels as they shopped.

Shoppers are now able to use Evri’s parcel services in more than 1,200 Tesco stores and print a free label in-store if they don’t have a printer at home.

Over the last five years, Evri has tripled in size and become the UK’s leading dedicated parcel delivery company – handling a staggering 730 million parcels each year.

But Tesco isn’t the only supermarket providing shoppers with unmissable offers this winter.

Sainsbury’s has brought back a popular Nectar card offer in the run-up to Christmas.

The offer previously allowed customers to swap their points for vouchers worth twice the usual amount.

Last year, it instead trialled a different rewards scheme using Nectar points for some customers.

This year, a version of the popular offer has come back letting shoppers double up their Nectar points for an in-store voucher.
