Tech start-ups are revolutionising gardening and helping to teach millennials and Generation Z their azaleas from their achilleas.
Sproutl, a start-up created last year, provides a website that offers customers a curated range of plants, shrubs and flowers while also guiding beginners through the process of what to do once the delivery arrives. The website’s banner proclaims: “I will not kill my plants today.”
Click on any flower or plant on the website and Sproutl will advise on how and where to plant it, the “effort level” of care it will need and how long it should survive for if given proper care.
