One hotel in Michigan, US, certainly thinks so, as they’ve launched a special Buddy the Elf Inspired suite experience, running from November 21 to December 31.

Sponsored by Maker’s Mark, the Royal Park Hotel is decorating the walls with lights and wrapping paper, and the ceiling with paper snowflakes, ornaments and garlands.

Number of Buddy the Elf’s favourite things will also be included in the package, including Buddy’s Mailroom Cocktail with a twist and his preferred food groups.

It doesn’t come cheap though – a night in the Elf suite will set you back £599 (£449) a night.

For those not too keen on syrup spaghetti, the hotel is also offering a different themed room – the gingerbread & brew suite.

These aren’t the only themed suites on offer for travellers this Christmas.

Club Med ski resort La Rosiere in France has launched a Terry’s Chocolate Orange-themed room – complete with unlimited free chocolate inside.

Inside the hotel room is a huge double bed, decked out in orange and blue, along with a desk shaped like a chocolate bar – and even the toilet paper is chocolate scented.

Room service includes chocolate orange hot chocolate, cocktails and chocolate orange truffles which they promise won’t run out – if you do, you can just order more from the VIP menu.

Staycation bookings have jumped for December as families try and get a last-minute holiday.

Many destinations are off the list, such as the US or Spain, unless quarantining or having a negative coronavirus test.
