Share price of Shree Cements rises as Nifty strengthens

Shares of Ltd. gained 1.17 per cent to Rs 27900.0 in Tuesday’s trade as of 10:10AM (IST). The stock hit a high price of Rs 28067.25 and low of Rs 27675.0 during the session.

The return on equity (ROE) for the stock stood at 14.84 per cent. Traded volume on the counter stood at 10:10AM shares and turnover at Rs 1.81 crore around that time. The stock of Shree Cements Ltd. quoted a 52-week high price of Rs 32050.0 and 52-week low prices of Rs 18214.4, respectively.

The stock’s Beta value, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 1.16.

Promotor/FII Holding

Promoters held 62.55 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while foreign investors held 12.51 per cent and domestic institutional investors had 8.3 per cent.

Key Financials

The company reported consolidated sales of Rs 4333.37 crore for the quarter ended 31-Mar-2021, up 18.74 per cent from previous quarter’s Rs 3649.38 crore and up 23.34 per cent from the year-ago quarter’s Rs 3513.31 crore. Net profit after tax for the latest quarter stood at Rs 798.43 crore, up 48.98 per cent from the same quarter a year ago.
