Sentinel & Enterprise’s Pam Porter is promoted – Sentinel & Enterprise

FITCHBURG — Long time Sentinel & Enterprise Account Executive Pam Porter has been promoted to the position of senior account executive, according to Edward L. Woods, the vice president and Chief Revenue Officer for the Northeast Region of MediaNews Group.

“I’ve been at the Sentinel & Enterprise for 23 years and it’s an honor to be recognized for the hard work I’ve done throughout the years and honored that the relationships I have built with my clients has not gone unnoticed,” said Porter about her promotion.

In addition to Porter’s current role in media sales, she will assume the responsibility of local advertisement budgets, identify and assist in implementing new sources of revenues, mentoring new sales representatives, and most important, serving as a liaison between the community and advertising and news leadership teams, according to Woods.

“Pam’s years of success with the company and her dedication to the Fitchburg community make this promotion a very natural next step,” said Woods.

In her expanded role, Woods said, she will work closely with senior management to help build the Sentinel & Enterprise brand and to help in the ongoing development of products that deliver results for our advertisers.

Regional Advertising Director Eddie Najeeullah, who Porter reports to, said she is a vital member of the advertising team.

“She has served the businesses in the North Central Massachusetts towns well for more than 20-plus years. She prides herself at going over and above for her customers and I’m very fortunate to be working with her in this next phase of her career and confident she will continue to deliver excellent results for her customers and the Sentinel & Enterprise,” said Najeeullah.

Porter, a Lunenburg native who still calls the town home, was thankful for the promotion and said she loves providing the Twin Cities and the surrounding communities a quality news product each day, online and in print.

“We work really hard each day to get out the paper and keep our website fresh with new content. I’ve been in this area my whole life, know the community, the businesses and really get a great deal of satisfaction working with the real estate professionals ,” she said.

She also thanked the many clients she has developed relationships with throughout the years, adding with a smile, “you’ll continue to see me out in the community helping ensure the long-term success of the Sentinel & Enterprise.”
