SBI VC Trading Launches Rent Coin Lending Service for SHIB – Crypto Times

SBI VC Trade, a digital asset subsidiary of Japan’s SBI Group has introduced Rent Coin, a new lending service that allows investors to earn passive income from Shiba Inu (SHIB). The platform mimics traditional lending models in financial banks, aiming to retain investors’ crypto assets while generating extra returns.

Meanwhile, the exchange platform covers 20 cryptocurrencies, with some major ones being listed like Litecoin (LTC), Avalanche (AVAX), and Chainlink (LINK). However, the ongoing recruitment period allows anyone to earn ARKK tokens using only 7 cryptocurrencies, such as Shiba Inu (SHIB) and Bitcoin (BTC), until April 25.

Borrowers will be exposed to compounding interest on all cryptocurrencies, considering the 2-year lending period. They can earn a yearly return rate of 2% for SHIB and BTC holders and 5% for BCH holders. Investors can apply until April 25, but cancellation is impossible after the due date. As SBI VC Trade has limited capacity, loan approvals may become capped if the number of applications exceeds its capacity.

This service was launched during the financial crisis, with SHIB currently trading at $0.00002679. Meanwhile, investors with foresight and patience await for the market to regain its value on the road to the Bitcoin Halving.
