Samsung Galaxy Fit 3 launch timeline revealed – SamMobile – Samsung news

Samsung has been making pretty good smartwatches, especially after it partnered with Google for Wear OS co-development. However, it has been years since the company launched its last fitness band, the Galaxy Fit 2. Last month, we got the first glimpse at the upcoming Galaxy Fit 3, the South Korean firm’s next cheap wearable device. Now, we have some information about its launch timeline.

While the design of the Galaxy Fit 3 was leaked a few days ago, its specifications and launch date are unknown. According to tipster Revegnus (@Tech_Reve), Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy Fit 3 in the first half of 2024. There will reportedly be no separate launch event for this wearable. It will launch months before the expected launch of the Galaxy Watch 7 lineup in the second half of next year.

It is also being reported that Samsung has plans to manufacture and sell around a million units of the Galaxy Fit 3. Not much is known about the upcoming wearable’s specifications, but it is evident from the images that it will have a much bigger color OLED screen than the Galaxy Fit 2. It also appears to feature a heart rate monitor. It might also feature sleep tracking, GPS, accelerometer, gyro, and other sensors.

The upcoming fitness band will be available in three colors. Since the Galaxy Fit 3 is getting a bigger screen and better features, it will likely be pricier than the Galaxy Fit 2. Samsung is also said to be preparing for the announcement of the Galaxy Buds 3 in the second half of next year.
