According to The Daily Mail UK‘s latest report, this is currently a serious matter since “The Hospital Group” is endorsed by famous actors and actresses, such as Kerry Katona, Tina Malone, and Joey Essex. The company itself also confirmed that its database was breached.

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace also had a breast enhancement surgery with the company way back in 2009. She is one of the actresses who competed on Big Brother. The British hospital informed the Information Commissioner to make an investigation.

“We can confirm that our IT systems have been subject to a data security breach,” the Hospital Group via New York Post

“None of our patients’ payment card details have been compromised but at this stage, we understand that some of our patients’ personal data may have been accessed,” added the company.

The Hospital Group emailed all its customers

BBC News confirmed that the popular plastic surgery company already emailed all its customers regarding the Russian cyberattack. It also informed other customers that have more personal details compromised.

Although the hack seems pretty big, the hospital said that if the photos will be leaked, it is understood that many of them don’t have the celebrities’ faces. However, Simon Hails, another patient who had chest reduction, said that he was not informed by the new Russian attack.

He explained that although the company sent him an email regarding the breach, the message doesn’t specify what has been hacked. The patient added that he is concerned that his before and after photos will be leaked in the public domain.
