Running in remembrance of 9/11 – McComb Enterprise Journal


First responders and military personnel from around the area gathered in McComb for a memorial run in remembrance of the 20th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks on Saturday morning. They ran .911 miles in turnout gear, military uniforms and body armor starting at 8:46 a.m., when the first plane hit the World Trade Center. The race began at the Kroger parking lot and ended at McComb’s downtown fire station.
