Frank was residing in Homosassa, Florida, until his passing and originally was from Elizabethtown.
His family wants everyone to remember Frank in the best way he would want us to, his love for family and friends. He loved so big. Whether you were blood related or not, his love soared to your soul in a way that you wouldn’t have known any different. This man loved. And he was so loved.
His zest for life was undeniable. He loved fishing, boating (he used to live on a boat), cooking the most amazing meals, entertaining everyone, gardening and carpentry – he built the most glorious outside cabana kitchen. Sometimes he felt that it was just time to sit and relax. But even then, there was always a smile on his face.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, John Robert and Emma Fern Vaughn; a sister, Joyce Vaughn; and twin brothers.
Frank is survived by his beloved and amazing wife and partner in fun, Rhonda Vaughn. Words cannot describe their loving union.
He also is survived by his brother, Sam Vaughn; his sisters, Connie Jones and Suzanne Nixon; his son, Frankie Vaughn Jr. and his wife, Sheri Vaughn; grandkiddos, Korey Vaughn, Micah Rodriques, John (Jay) Robert Vaughn, Kayla Reynolds and Kelsie Keeney (Sean); and great-grandbabies, Will and Weston Keeney; nieces, Sandra Jones, Judy Love and Debbie Thompson; his stepson, Nathaniel Rosenbarger and his wife, Shelby Harris; grandkiddos, Lorelan and Dorian; his pets, Morgan and Gracie; and so many friends and family who cherished him.
RIP, our sweet Frank. We are missing you so much already. Fly high with your laughter and our love for you, my dear.
