Richard E. Treadwell, 89, Park Rapids, MN, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2024 at home.
Richard was born in Pontiac, MI January 20, 1935. He grew up in Michigan, graduated from high school, and went to trade school. He was building houses since his teen years. It was a long career that he thoroughly enjoyed.
Richard enjoyed hunting, canoeing, and the peace of the woods. He will be missed by his many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his wife, Betty; son Curtis; daughters, Tina and Heidi.
He is preceded in death by daughters, Jody Whittaker, Ann Wixom, and son, Bruce Wixom.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Cease Family Funeral Home in Park Rapids. Visitation will begin at 3:00 PM.
