Pedestrian critically injured in collision in Corona – Press-Enterprise


A female pedestrian was in critical condition Saturday, Feb. 23, after she was struck by a truck in Corona, police said.

The collision happened just before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Main and Ninth streets. The woman was found unconscious in the road, Additional circumstances of the crash were not immediately reported. Neither of the two people in the truck was reported injured.

Investigators learned of a second, uninvolved vehicle whose occupants witnessed the collision. Police would like to speak with the occupants to get a statement, a news release said.
