Palestinian Prime Minister Mohammad Shtayyeh announced the resumption of diplomatic relations with Israel Tuesday after he says a commitment was received from the Israelis to abide by various signed agreements between the two parties. Shtayyeh said relations with Israel had been suspended since May 19th, 2020.
