Palaniswami unveil new policies on cyber security, block chain, AI tech – United News of India


Chennai, Sep 19 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edappadi

K Palaniswami on Saturday unveiled three new policies on

cyber security, blockchain technology and Artificial Intelligence

(AI) technology.

Participating in the CII Connect-2020 event organised by

the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), he unveiled the

three new policies via video-conferencing from the State

Secretariat.

Speaking on the occasion, he said the new TN Cyber Security

policy was aimed at protecting the state network from hackers

and prevent online security breaches.

The block chain policy-2020 was aimed at implementing the

government’s socio-economic welfare measures online in a

more transparent and secured manner.

As the use of AI has increased globally and helped in

diagnosing diseases, drug invention and in other fields,

the TN Safe and Ethical Artificial Intelligence Policy

would ensure transparent governance and help in easily

attaining the development goals, an official release said.
