ALEX OXLADE-CHAMBERLAIN is back in the England squad after a year-long injury nightmare.
The Liverpool star is finally back to full fitness after seeing last campaign wrecked by a knee ligament injury.
And he has been drafted straight back into the Three Lions group by manager Gareth Southgate for the Euro 2020 qualifiers against Bulgaria and Kosovo.
Mings, 26, has been included in the senior squad for the first time after catching Southgate’s eye with his form with Aston Villa.
The defender helped Villa to promotion while on loan from Bournemouth last season and has impressed in the Premier League after completing a permanent £26million move over the summer.
Southgate has begun the process of evolving his squad after their disappointing display in the Uefa Nations League last summer.
Dele Alli misses out through injury, but Tottenham team-mate Eric Dier and Everton’s Fabian Delph are expected to be dropped.
