Olympian Andrew Lewis has presented a token from Olympian Andrew Lewis on Friday.
The veteran of the 2012, 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games gave a framed yellow shirt he used at the Tokyo Games to the Sports Minister.
The sleeveless shirt has the words “Tokyo 2020”, the Olympic rings, and the letters “TTO” printed on the front.
Lewis finished in 23rd place in the Men’s Laser at the Tokyo Games.
A release from the Ministry of Sport and Community Development stated that Lewis spoke to Minister Cudjoe briefly about his vision for the sport.
“Thanks to Andrew for your hard work and commitment to sport development,” the release stated.
Earlier in October, Lewis signed a two-year sponsorship deal with Toyota Trinidad and Tobago Limited.
