NSE-BSE bulk deals: Radhakishan Damani buys nearly 7 lakh shares of shipping firm

Ace investor Radhakishan Damani bought nearly 7 lakh shares of Cochin Shipyard from the open market on Thursday, NSE bulk deals data showed. Shares of the company closed 8.52 per cent higher at Rs 354.75.

Overall, the benchmark equity indices snapped four sessions of gains as investors trimmed their exposure to IT and banking stocks amid mixed global cues. The BSE Sensex closed 148.82 points down at 40,558.49, while the broader NSE Nifty slipped 41.20 points to 11,896.45.
