NSE-BSE bulk deals: Hindustan Times buys 38 lakh shares of Sutlej Textiles


NEW DELHI: Among the key bulk deals on Wednesday, Hindustan Times picked up a stake in Sutlej Textiles, while GMR Enterprises sold a sizeable amount of shares in GMR Infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the 30-share pack Sensex climbed 133.14 points or 0.28 per cent to 47,746.22. Its broader peer, NSE Nifty advanced 49.35 points or 0.35 per cent to 13,981.95.

Here’s who bought and sold what in some of the key bulk deals of the day:

>> Gita Kirti Ambani sold 1,80,100 shares at Rs 54.60 per share. The company got Rs 8 crore worth of orders for a project in Gujarat earlier in the day.

>> Plutus Wealth Management bought 10 lakh shares of Chemcon Speciality Chemicals at Rs 428.52 per share.

>> HDFC Dividend Yield Fund bought 4 lakh shares of Centum Electronics at Rs 421.19 per share, while HDFC Equity Savings Fund sold 3.72 lakh shares at Rs 420.72.

>> The Hindustan Times bought another 38 lakh shares of Sutlej Textiles at Rs 45.61 per share, while Earthstone Holdings (Two) Pvt Ltd sold another 38,00,000 shares of the company at Rs 45.60. The latter held 5.98 per cent stake in the company at the end of September.
