Additionally, there are plans for piloting Adjustment Passports for disabled youngsters on supported internships, apprenticeships or traineeships.
This second passport pilot is expected to begin in March 2022.
The DWP also noted that the passport will help raise awareness of the Access to Work scheme and the support it can provide.
The Access to Work scheme provides benefit grants for disabled people of up to £62,900, which is intended to help cover the cost of specialist equipment or support needed for them to do their job.
