Manchester United are reportedly front of the queue to sign Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan having given up in their pursuit of Jadon Sancho this summer. The Red Devils had Sancho as their main target heading into the summer transfer window.
Initially, it looked as though a deal would be straightforward with United having a free run at signing the England international due to other clubs being unwilling to open talks with Borussia Dortmund.
Personal terms were said to have been agreed on a five-year contract, but the sticking point remained the fee that Dortmund were demanding.
They’ve stood firm at their £108million asking price and have since indicated that Sancho will not be sold given they have little time to bring in a replacement.
United have been forced to look at potential alternatives over the past few weeks as a result and they’re running out of time.
