Man Utd could be given Premier League title boost by Liverpool owners

They’ve been forced to play Fabinho and either Jordan Henderson or one of two young fringe players – Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams – at the back.

But regardless, Liverpool’s owners seem to have told Klopp that he‘ll have to deal with the issue from within until the end of the season and won’t be able to reinforce the squad this month.

Despite being linked with a host of centre-backs from around Europe, and a couple from the Premier League, Liverpool are no closer to signing any reinforcements than they were at the start of the window.

With just over a week to go until the window closes, Liverpool seem unlikely to sign the centre-back they so desperately need.
