Man appears in court over alleged immigration firm attack



A man has appeared at the Old Bailey in relation to an alleged attack at a London law firm last month.

According to The Times, Cavan Medlock, 28, of Harrow, north west London, has been charged with a racially or religiously aggravated attack on a solicitor at Duncan Lewis, one of the biggest legal aid immigration firms in the country.

Medlock faces five charges, including threatening to kill a director at the firm, causing racially aggravated alarm, harassment or distress, battery and causing fear of unlawful violence.

He appeared by video link from Wormwood Scrubs prison and has yet to enter pleas. He was remanded in custody and a trial date of 1 April has been set.
