The Reds have been relatively quiet in the transfer market so far but that could all change in the next few weeks
Transfer update: Grealish to make decision; Reds eye Traore
It has been a somewhat underwhelming transfer window for Liverpool so far, with the capture of RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate the only signing they have made up until now.
And with the new Premier League season kicking off in just over two weeks, Reds fans could be forgiven for getting slightly frustrated at their lack of action in the market.
Nevertheless, they are a club known for acting swiftly and decisively when an opportunity arises, and it still seems highly likely they will open their wallet again in the near future.
The big question is where they will strengthen, with a new forward and central midfielder thought to be the main priorities on Jurgen Klopp’s wish-list.
Here are all the latest rumours coming out of Anfield…
Reds battling for Kulusevski
The Swedish international scored seven goals and created seven assists in all competitions last season, and is drawing attention from a number of elite sides due to his fine performances.
According to Tutto Juve the trio of English clubs’ interest is thought to be strongest.
However, the Serie A giants are keen to keep the player, and with his contract not due to expire until 2025 they will hold a strong position in any negotiations.
Klopp warned off Bowen
One of the more surprising transfer links for Liverpool this summer has been that of West Ham’s attacking midfielder Jarrod Bowen, with Klopp thought to be a big fan.
But the Reds’ former defender Glen Johnson does not think he is a man who would improve the team
Speaking to BettingOdds.com, he said: “Personally I don’t think he [Bowen] is the type of player that Liverpool need.
“He’s a good player, he’s proved a lot of people wrong and he’s stepped up in the Premier League but I don’t think he’s at Liverpool’s level.
“I think Liverpool have better players already so I’d be surprised to see them offload anyone to bring in Bowen.
“He’s had a good season and his career is going in the right direction and if he keeps improving then you never know what will happen. Right now though I don’t think he’s a good fit for Liverpool.”
Tsimikas rumours “shot down”

Konstantinos Tsimikas has only been at Anfield for a season, but there is already speculation that he could move on.
The Greek full-back managed just two Premier League appearances in the last campaign after struggling with fitness and form, and he has been linked with a switch to Napoli this summer.
But RAI journalist Ciro Venerato has insisted that Liverpool are not interested in selling the player so soon, and want to give him another chance in the upcoming season.
“Liverpool shot Napoli down,” he said of the Italian side’s enquiry. “They don’t want to transfer the player on loan.”
