Law360 (November 13, 2019, 9:05 PM EST) — A New York federal judge told Kik Interactive to move on with discovery in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s suit alleging the Canadian messaging company engaged in an unregistered securities offering, blocking testimony from high-ranking officials.
U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein of the Southern District of New York told Kik Interactive Inc. in a paperless order on Tuesday that it should focus on “completing discovery, and not on wasteful forays into inadmissible facts.”
