KFC is bringing back its popular Double Down burger – but only for six weeks.
The breadless burger uses two pieces of chicken instead of a bun, with bacon, Monterey Jack cheese and bbq sauce making up the filling.
The Double Down will be available from this Monday, October 5, until Sunday, November 15.
KFC fans will be able to buy either one as a single sandwich for £4.99, or as a meal with fries and drink for £5.99.
In addition, diners can also get a Double Down burger boxmeal, which comes with fries, a drink, plus an extra piece of Original Recipe chicken, for £7.49.
KFC fans can get one in restaurants or via home delivery through Uber Eats.
The fried chicken chain confirmed the news on Twitter today.
It’s the first time the Double Down has returned to the UK since 2018.
But some fans previously branded the burger “a disaster”.
