Jurgen Klopp and Sean Dyche in half-time dust-up during Liverpool vs Burnley

Jurgen Klopp appeared furious with Burnley boss Sean Dyche at half-time of Liverpool’s clash with the Clarets as the pair engaged in a heated row in the tunnel.

The game was goalless at half-time, but there was a flashpoint on the field just as the whistle went to signal the break.

Fabinho and Ashley Barnes had a coming-together, which broke out into a wider spell of handbags, with other players joining in with some pushing and shoving.

It was something and nothing, as VAR decided no one deserved a red card and Fabinho was given a booking.

However, the two managers appeared to be involved in a serious argument as they left their players on the pitch and made their way down the Anfield tunnel.

Klopp was following Dyche down the tunnel, shouting and waving his arms about as the Burnley boss walked off but turned around and made his own point.

The incident was partially caught on the Sky Sports cameras, but carried on beyond that point.

Klopp’s frustrations will not have been helped as Liverpool continued to struggle to find the net, having not scored in their last three Premier League games.

Divock Origi had a glorious chance to break the deadlock against the Clarets, going through on goal against Nick Pope, but crashing his shot against the crossbar.
