A serious injury claims specialist that started life in the north west has continued its expansion across the country with a new team hire.
CFG Law today announced it will open a new office in Bury St Edmunds in Suffolk and add a consulting office in Cambridge. Hannah Clarke, previously head of serious brain and spinal cord injury cases at East Anglia firm Ashtons, will lead the new operation.
Serious injury specialists Mick Upton, who will also join as a partner, senior associate Siobhan Thacker, associate chartered legal executive Tim Gleave and colleagues Diane Hilton and Sarah Barrett will also join the new team from April.
The new base is the latest expansion following a year when the firm launch a new Court of Protection and private client service, two new consulting offices in Oxford and Sunderland and new partnerships in the north east and Yorkshire with spinal injury and road safety charities.
Richard Clark, chief executive of CFG Law, said: ‘We’re delighted to be able to welcome our new colleagues to CFG. The east of England was an area where we saw a number of strategic opportunities so this is an exciting and logical next step. The past 12 months have been challenging for all firms but we’ve been able to grow our business and continue to do things differently in line with our purpose – and that was a key factor in the team’s decision to join us and want to work with us.’
