India earthquake: Delhi rocked by magnitude 3.2 quake days after warning of major tremor


On May 29, a medium-intensity earthquake hit Delhi, Noida, Gurugram, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh.

The NCS recorded the earthquake peak at magnitude 4.6 on the Richter scale.

Before that, on May 15, a magnitude 2.2 quake hit about eight miles (13km) northwest of New Delhi.

The earthquake’s epicentre was in the residential area of Pitampura.

On May 10, a small earthquake again rocked Delhi, Noida and surrounding areas.

A magnitude 3.5 earthquake also struck Delhi in April, with the epicentre tracked to the Pakistani city of Wazirabad.
