Full moon 2022: Exact time to see Wolf Moon at its best in the sky TONIGHT

January 2022’s Full Moon has already been spotted across the globe, with the glowing orb also known as the Wolf Moon. Glancing up at the night sky you’ll be able to spot the Wolf Moon in all it’s glory, but there’s a specific time the Moon will be at its best.

There will be 12 Full Moons in 2022, and tonight’s Wolf Moon is the first of the year.

The Full Moon is often blamed for a range of problems – like not getting enough sleep or even emergency services seeing an increase in ‘wild’ behaviour.

Humans have long tied the Full Moon to ongoing events, even naming each month’s Moon to reflect this.

Tonight’s Full Moon is known as the Wolf Moon, so-called because hungry wolves would howl at the Moon during January.
