Erling Haaland transfer twist as Man Utd and Chelsea told release clause is 'much higher'


United are in the market for a striker, with Edinson Cavani looking set to leave the club at the end of his contract.

Meanwhile, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has reportedly made it his mission to sign Haaland this summer.

But Fjortoft believes there is a good possibility both Dortmund and Haaland will be happy for the player to stay for one more season.

He said: “They could keep him if they wanted to keep him, because there is no reason, why should they sell him?
