Crystal Palace vs Manchester United LIVE: Team news, line-ups and more ahead of Premier League fixture tonight

Crystal Palace welcome Manchester United to Selhurst Park this evening as the visitors look to exact revenge against the Eagles, having fallen to defeat when the sides met earlier this season.

Palace were 3-1 winners in the reverse fixture near the start of the campaign, with former Man United winger Wilfried Zaha netting twice in that clash with his old club. The Ivory Coast international is not expected to feature tonight, however, with an injury sustained early last month set to keep him out a little while longer. Zaha’s absence is certainly a blow to Roy Hodgson’s side, who enter the match in 13th place in the Premier League.

They are also in mixed form coming into the fixture, with two wins, two losses and one draw in their last five outings. Second-placed Man United, meanwhile, trail rivals and league leaders Man City by 15 points and have also won just two of their last five games. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s team are unbeaten in that run, however, having drawn their other three matches in that stretch. The title seems to be slipping away from the Red Devils, but they will nevertheless hope to reduce the gap to City to 12 points here. ONE CHANGE FOR PALACE

Roy Hodgson chooses not to make great alterations to his side despite a disappointing performance against Fulham last time out. James McCarthy returns to the starting XI, while Jeffrey Schlupp and Connor Wickham are back on the bench. There’s still no Wilfried Zaha, of course.

CAVANI RETURNS

The big news for Manchester United is that Edinson Cavani is back in the starting XI. He’s joined by Dean Henderson, who replaces David de Gea in goal. And there are starts for Eric Bailly and Mason Greenwood, too.
