Cryptocurrency Company Asks Judge to Restore Online IRA Platform – Bloomberg Law


A cryptocurrency company that serves retirement plan investors wants a federal court in South Dakota to issue a temporary restraining order against an asset custodian that allegedly retaliated after investors tried to move their money to a competitor.

DigitalIRA.com LLC, a year-old service provider for investors who hold Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies in their retirement accounts, accused South Dakota asset custodian Kingdom Trust Co. of retaliating against Digital IRA customers who try to transfer their assets to a competing custodian.
