The UFC star has continually trolled the American ever since he lost in a professional boxing fight in August 2017.
Mayweather won by a technical knock-out in the tenth round of that mega-fight, which was highly lucrative for both fighters.
The defeat of McGregor was Mayweather’s last professional fight, with the American instead taking part in exhibition matches since retiring from boxing for a third time.
But despite losing, McGregor has continued to lash out at and taunt Mayweather, regularly tweeting or posting on Instagram with barbed comments towards his former opponent.
The bout in 2017 was McGregor’s sole venture into the boxing ring so far, with the Irishman returning to the Octagon in recent years.
He has only done so on rare occasions though and was defeated in his most recent fight by Dustin Poirier in January at UFC 257, with ‘The Notorious’ suffering his first technical knock-out loss.
He will take on Poirier again in July, with the trilogy between the pair set to be completed at UFC 264.
Mayweather meanwhile has also rarely ventured back into boxing since retiring following his defeat of McGregor.
That was the 50 th win of his career, with the American becoming a legend of the sport during the 21 years he spent as a professional.
The 44-year-old is preparing to take on YouTuber Logan Paul in an exhibition bout on Sunday night, in a fight that has been widely derided.

Mayweather has earned millions of dollars over the course of his career, but continues to appear in adverts across the world.
And McGregor has now stumbled upon to his latest appearance promoting a company, this time being for window-glazing business Love Windows.
The advert appeared on British television, with McGregor filming his rival’s appearance before posting the video onto Instagram.
“Hi guys I’m Floyd Mayweather. Call Love Windows right now,” Mayweather said before reading out the company’s phone number.
Alongside that clip of Mayweather flogging the windows, the Irishman sarcastically added the caption: “It’s a big bargain over at Love Windows U.K, guys! Make sure check it out.”
The UFC star has been desperate to face Mayweather in the ring again ever since he lost on his professional boxing debut.
Though Mayweather has previously ignored those calls for a rematch, the boxer appeared to open the door to taking on McGregor again.
“Absolutely. He easy,” Mayweather told Showtime Sports when asked if he’s open to fighting the UFC’s poster boy again during a press event promoting his bout with Paul.
“The beef is all these guys look up to me, steal my blueprint and then get to hating on me.”
